WebNode affinity is a more sophisticated form of nodeSelector as it offers a much wider selection criteria. Each pod can specify its preferences and requirements by defining it's own node affinity rules. Based on these rules, the Kubernetes scheduler will try to place the pod to one of the nodes matching the defined criteria.
