WebRemoved all mods from Vortex and moved to MO2, re-installed all mods/cleaned/load order organised still crashing. deleted all ini files, validated file integrety through steam: still crashing. Removed all mods from MO2, uninstalled FO4, deleted all ini files. Reinstalled and it crashed vanilla at the same spot (crying emoji!) WebUnfortunately @OP - I'm betting your save is no longer compatible with the current FO4 version . Easy to check. Move the offending save to a temp folder. Load a save that is newer than the last mod you added. Start the game. If you don't get the CTD anymore then the issue is with the save. Oh Well.

Webonly looksmenu is auto disabled while other mods are not, it even sometimes cause CTD when loading save files and I have to enable it again if its auto disabled which is very hassle, how do I fix this? They said use a mod manager to run the game and not the default game launcher. I am using f4se launcher and not the default steam launcher. I was playing FO4 a few days ago without any problems, without any crashes, without anything, then I went out of town, got back today and now it's unplayable.
